This game can be used for remembering sight words, alien words, phonic sounds, number bonds or times tables. Game board and blank playing cards are provided. Playing cards can be used for practicing focus letters, sounds, words, numbers, sums or times tables. Print out as many as you need. The best way to use this resource is to print out and laminate the game board and game cards. Write on the cards with a white board pen to focus on the target words/numbers/sums to practice. You can rub them out and add new words as your students learn the target letters, sounds, words, numbers, sums or times tables. To play this game, you will need: Dice Counters Print out the coloured game board with the lily pads, either on card or on paper and laminate it. Print out the fly and lily cards. You can print as many as you need. Option 1: Print the cards and laminate them. You can reuse these cards by writing the target words, times tables, number bonds etc using a white board pen. Option 2 Print them on card and write the words, sums, times tables on to the cards. Roll the dice, move along the lily pads. If you land on an lily pick up a lily card and read the word, write the word or solve the problem. If you land on an fly card, read the word, write to word or solve the problem. You can keep going until you run out of cards or you can go around the board twice. OR You can make up your own rules to the game. All my students have enjoyed this game whatever we choose to focus on. Have fun!
